We recognize that it is extremely difficult to find doctors who are able to diagnose and treat MCAS, POTS, EDS and many other related conditions. We building a digital first, telehealth clinic that will finally enable patients to access doctors. Right now, we can help you find the right resources to navigate your care, and eventually we plan to offer complete care team that includes a wide variety of specialty doctors as well as physical therapists, dieticians, and other types of support. For now, we can help you in your journey to find good medical care, but we do not currently offer medical services. We hope to be able to expand our offerings in the very near future.

We want to ensure that all people affected by conditions like MCAS, PoTS, and EDS are able to access quality care. Today, many people are traveling long distances to see a doctor, and many more don't even have a doctor who can provide the most basic level of care for these conditions. We hope to be able to start seeing patients in Fall 2023. Initially, we will open in states with the highest need as measured by the waitlist.

We are building a platform that puts patients first. We provide patients with a medical home, expert treatment, and a community that works together to support patients through all stages of the care journey.

Kaptain is not offering appointments at this time, but we can connect you with providers who are already independently diagnosing and treating patients in multiple states. If you need a doctor, we will help you find a patient endorsed provider that is already practicing near you, even if they aren't affiliated with our platform.

In general, lab work and testing is important to understand any condition, but we are not over reliant on it. Our mission is to ensure patients have access to better care. We won't exclude patients from care based on unreliable test results.

We plan to accept all types of insurance including Medicare and Medicaid., and we can direct you to providers who already accept all forms of insurance.

You don't need a referral from your doctor, but we encourage you to tell your doctor about Kaptain so they can refer more people who might need better specialty care for these conditions.

We currently do not plan to offer in person services, but we will happily recommend you a provider who can see you in person.
